Having spent the last 20 years in the Care Industry, Phil began his career as a Health Care Assistant before working his way to being a Registered Home Manager and Commissioning Manager: he has a Register Managers Award, and is currently working towards the QCF Level 5 Managers’ Certificate. Phil has previously worked in Nursing, Dementia and ABI (Aquired Brain Injury) areas of Care. Phil says:“I have a real passion for caring for those who need support and expect the highest standard of care to be given at all times.” Outside of work, Phil enjoys spending time with his partner and two boys, going to the Gym, Mountain Climbing, Rugby Union and Chocolate. Karen’s role is designed to provide guidance and support as you search for the right care home for you or your loved one. She will be your first port of call for all enquiries, whether that’s regarding a short respite stay or a more permanent move. We understand how daunting this journey can be, Karen is here to support and assist you with the process and give you the opportunity to discover all the great things the Hazelwell has to offer. Karen has over 10 years experience as a Home Administrator, gaining her NVQ3 in Business & Administration. In her spare time, Karen enjoys walking her dog, curling up with a good book and a nice glass of something chilled.
