REGISTERED GENERAL NURSES | NIGHTS

The Hazelwell Care Home are recruiting for full-time, experienced Night Nurses to join their friendly team.

The successful candidate must have good communication skills, be motivated to offer the highest standards of care and be able to undertake all appropriate aspects of nursing care required.

Responsibilities will include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for specified residents to ensure continuity of care and to take management responsibility for a shift as directed.

Applicants will be qualified RGN and will have a genuine interest in working with the elderly. Excellent communication skills are essential and applicants must be able to communicate effectively at all levels in English. Current NMC registration is necessary and a DBS check also applies to this position. Experience in care for the elderly and previous supervisory experience would be advantageous.

The position offers excellent rates of pay and a first-class working environment coupled with being part of a motivated and enthusiastic team.

SENIOR CARERS/CARERS

The Hazelwell Care Home are recruiting for Senior Carers and Carers to join their friendly team.

 The home provides excellent standards of care for elderly residents, including those with dementia. Our approach is not just meeting the care needs of residents but exceeding their expectations and ensuring their health, wellbeing and interests are looked after at all times. 

 Your main responsibility will be to provide personal care for residents, attending to their needs by recognising and facilitating the personal requirements of each resident. You’ll also be closely involved in the general activities of the home, and responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, staff members, and visitors.

 Applicants must have a genuine interest in working with elderly residents within a caring environment. A willingness to participate in Vocational Training Programmes is essential. Applicants should be able to communicate effectively and fluently at all levels and be comfortable working as part of a friendly team. A satisfactory DBS check applies to this role. Previous supervisory experience working in an elderly care environment and a Level 2 qualification in care would be advantageous.
