CARERS | FULL-TIME (DAY & NIGHT)

We are looking to recruit full-time Carers to join our team - day shifts and night shifts available.

Your main responsibility will be to provide personal care for each resident, attending to their needs by recognising and facilitating the personal requirements of each resident. You’ll also be closely involved in the general activities of the home, and responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, staff members, and visitors. Your daily routine will be as varied as the needs of the people you are looking after.

Applicants must have a genuine interest in working with elderly residents within a caring environment and a willingness to participate in Vocational Training Programmes would be ideal. Applicants should be able to communicate effectively and fluently at all levels and be comfortable working as part of a team.

Experience is required for this position and a satisfactory, enhanced DBS check applies.

The position is 36 hours and offers excellent rates of pay and a first-class working environment coupled with being part of a motivated and enthusiastic team.

REGISTERED GENERAL NURSES | FULL-TIME (DAY & NIGHT)

We are looking to recruit full-time and part-time, Night and Day Registered Nurses to join our team here at Hazelwell Care Home.

The successful candidate must have good communication skills, be motivated to offer the highest standards of care and be able to undertake all appropriate aspects of nursing care required.

Responsibilities will include assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating care for specified residents to ensure continuity of care and to take management responsibility for a shift as directed.

Applicants will be qualified RGN and will have a genuine interest in working with the elderly. Excellent communication skills are essential and applicants must be able to communicate effectively at all levels in English. Current NMC registration is necessary and a DBS check also applies to this position. Experience in care for the elderly and previous supervisory experience would be advantageous.

The position is full-time and part-time both night and days and offers excellent rates of pay and a first-class working environment coupled with being part of a motivated and enthusiastic team.

SENIOR CARER | PART-TIME (NIGHTS)

We are looking to recruit a part-time Senior Carer to join our friendly night team.

The position will be to take charge of the shift and guide staff to deliver excellent personal care to the residents’ daily needs. Senior Care Practitioners will also administer medicines, and undertake the re-ordering on a monthly basis, as required in accordance with policies and procedures, as well as assisting in building relationships between staff and residents. You will also be required to maintain a safe and secure environment for residents, team members and visitors whilst ensuring that each of our residents retains their individuality and dignity at all times

Applicants will have experience and a genuine interest in working with elderly residents within a caring environment and be willing to participate in Vocational Training Programmes.  Applicants should be able to communicate effectively at all levels and be comfortable working in a team.  Applicants should be NVQ Level 3 Qualified, or working towards this qualification. Satisfactory Police Check and DBS/CRB check applies to this role.

The successful applicant will also be expected to develop person-centred care plans, complete and update assessments, review the care plans monthly and organise and hold reviews with the residents or family members.

Previous experience and a qualification in the care and safe handling of medicines would be advantageous for this role.

We expect the candidate to work 3 nights per week and this role offers excellent rates of pay and a first-class working environment coupled with being part of a motivated and enthusiastic team.
