Chef | Competitive Rate of Pay

The Hazelwell Care Home are looking to recruit a part-time Chef for their home located in Heswall, the Wirral.

The Hazelwell has been purpose built and finished to an exceptionally high standard; it has many luxurious features which creates a truly unique home from home for their residents.

When it comes to their team they believe in the importance of choosing the best candidates who will provide the highest level of care available for each of their residents, at all times.


You should hold all relevant qualifications for this role including City and Guilds Catering, an NVQ in catering and food safety/hygiene certificate etc... Strong leadership, Good communication skills both verbal and written are essential as you will be negotiating with suppliers regularly. A proven ability to manage a busy kitchen, build a strong team and the ability to work on your own initiative is also key to this position.

Satisfactory Police Check and DBS/CRB check applies to this role. Desired skills include previous experience in stock management and the dietary requirements and food preparation for elderly clients.

Carers - Day & Night | Competitive Rate of Pay

The Hazelwell Care Home are looking to recruit Carers for their home located in Heswall, the Wirral.

The Hazelwell has been purpose built and finished to an exceptionally high standard; it has many luxurious features which creates a truly unique home from home for their residents.

When it comes to their team they believe in the importance of choosing the best candidates who will provide the highest level of care available for each of their residents, at all times.

The role involves providing quality care for their elderly residents, and ensuring that they retain their dignity and individuality. You’ll also be involved in the general activities of the home, and maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, staff members, and visitors.

Applicants will have a genuine interest in working with elderly residents within a caring environment and be willing to participate in vocational training programmes. Applicants should be able to communicate effectively at all levels and be comfortable working in a team.

A QCF/NVQ in Care is not necessary for this post but a willingness to take part in vocational training is required. A qualification in the Safe Handling of Medicines would be advantageous for this role but is not essential, satisfactory police check and DBS check applies.

Domestic Assistant | Competitive Rate of Pay

 

The Hazelwell Care Home are looking to recruit a part time Domestic Assistant for their home located in Heswall, the Wirral.

The Hazelwell has been purpose built and finished to an exceptionally high standard; it has many luxurious features which creates a truly unique home from home for their residents.

Successful candidates will work as part of a team to maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene within the Care Home, whilst ensuring a safe, comfortable environment for all residents, at all times.

Required: Applicants should be a team player, with good communication skills, verbal and written. Satisfactory Police Check and DBS/CRB Check apply to this post.

Desired: Experience working with the elderly within a caring environment would be advantageous but is not essential for this role.
