Whether a resident visits their GP independently or with the assistance of a team member, appointments can be arranged and made for both routine checks and emergencies.
Frequent Dentist Visits
Dental appointments are available at no additional cost for residents who might be seeking a consultation. Treatment may incur an additional cost but will be discussed privately.
All residents are able to make appointments with the optician, as part of the individual living expenses. Routine check-ups will be included within the overall fee, but prescription glasses may incur an additional cost.
Our private Chiropodist regularly visits us, and will assess residents to either diagnose and treat foot problems, fix deformities, treat infections or relieve pain.
Physiotherapy treatments are regularly held at The Hazelwell Care Home. Gentle, chair based exercises led by our experienced Physiotherapist has many benefits for all residents types, including improving strength, flexibility and balance.
