Health Care Assistant (Day & Nights) 

We are recruiting for a passionate and committed Care Assistant to join our team – we have a full time position available that could cover both days or nights.

The home provides excellent standards of care for elderly residents, including those with dementia. Our approach is not just meeting the care needs of residents but exceeding their expectations and ensuring their health, wellbeing and interests are always of paramount importance. Your main responsibility will be to providing person centred care. You’ll also be closely involved in the general activities of the home and will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, staff members, and visitors. Your daily routine will be as varied as the needs of the people you are looking after.

Applicants must have a genuine interest in working with elderly residents within a caring environment and preferably care home experience and NVQ 2. A satisfactory DBS check applies to this role.

Staff are currently receiving weekly Covid-19 testing and you would be expected to adhere to this to help keep the home Covid-19 secure. Senior Carer (Nights) 

We are recruiting for a Senior Carer to join our friendly team, working nights, 36 hours per week. 

The home provides excellent standards of care for elderly residents, including those with dementia. Our approach is not just meeting the care needs of residents but exceeding their expectations and ensuring their health, wellbeing and interests are looked after at all times. Your main responsibility will be to provide personal care for residents, attending to their needs by recognising and facilitating the personal requirements of each resident. You’ll also be closely involved in the general activities of the home, and responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for residents, staff members, and visitors. you would also be administering medication on the residential unit and running the shift on the residential unit with support from the RGN.

 Applicants must have a genuine interest in working with elderly residents within a caring environment. NVQ 3 and care home experience is essential for the role.

 Applicants should be able to communicate effectively and fluently at all levels and be comfortable working as part of a friendly team. A satisfactory DBS check applies to this role. Previous supervisory experience working in an elderly care environment and a Level 3 qualification in care is essential.
