Bringing our Residents a Variety of Activities & Entertainment

At Hazelwell Care Home, our devoted team make sure to go above and beyond for our residents by providing them with an extensive range of activities and full use of our modern facilities. The entertainment and activities we have to offer our residents are an opportunity to learn, socialise and continue their much-loved hobbies in a supportive care facility.  

For example, recently our team have been hosting karaoke sessions with the residents as it provides them with the opportunity to revisit old songs that trigger positive memories with their loved ones. We have also hosted arts and crafts sessions in the garden whilst the residents enjoy soaking up the sunshine and creating beautiful handcrafted pieces for their loved ones. 

There are so many benefits to our activities and entertainment programmes. Whether our residents are looking to build and develop new connections within our care home, gain new skills, improve their self-confidence or even feel a sense of achievement. Our activities programme helps our residents to stay stimulated and to improve their overall physical health whilst ensuring they achieve the most out of each and every day.

From our varied activities programme to our wonderful facilities that include a pamper session at our in-house salon, a tranquil stroll in our outdoor areas to participating in our arts and craft sessions, all can be achieved at The Hazelwell Care Home.
